light unit
The light emitting unit is usually a VSCEL that can emit a specific wavelength of infrared. VSCEL can emit a high signal with relatively low power.
Optical lenses and optical filter
Used to collect reflected light. The filter only allows the infrared rays of the corresponding wavelength to pass, suppresses other light, and reduces noise.
Image Sensor
The core component of the ToF camera, which receives the reflected light, is responsible for measuring the time for each pixel to reflect the light from the light-emitting element to the target object and then reflect back to the sensor.
